Soleil Soleil

I got to photograph my wife in Greece for a brand I love……whaaaat. If someone told me I would end up doing that after finishing my carpentry apprenticeship, I would have been completely mind blown.

This shoot was fun, we got to shoot with an amazing videographer, Jar O’sullivan. Marianne and I hadn’t really shot with this much diversity before. 3 locations and a mixture of emotions. We wanted to express that feeling of going to an exotic location and allowing the energy of the location to express itself through her.

I asked the old Greek man you will see in one of the images below, if we could get some photographs of Marianne on the back of his scooter. We somehow understood each other through English and a little Greek. He was so happy to take Marianne for a spin and he told us he used to be a professional photographer for 20 years. He loved that I still shot on film. Reflecting back, I wish I had asked for his name and got the opportunity to see some of his photographs.
