I had the pleasure to create for a second time with Mahalia Celeste, an amazing model, creative and nature lover. We had worked together before and connected as we were both nature lovers. This shoot flowed with ease and it felt like we were being directed by nature. That’s where a big piece of the magic lies for me. This location also has a special place in my heart as it's a location in Byron Bay. I was told a story that the local Indigenous people used to have a relationship with the dolphins and they would work together to catch fish. After a successful hunt a certain amount of fish were given back to the dolphins — which maintained a reciprocal respectful connection between the local dolphins and humans.
