QUIET EARTH

A hot and sweaty journey to a traditional pottery firing experience with Cade from Quiet Earth in Lombok, Indonesia. This opportunity sparked a love and a path in artisinal documentary photography that I hadn't really thought would be possible before. Cade called it after the shoot as well, I still remember him saying with a glimmer in his eyes “ I reckon this will be the start of something new for you”. I'm pretty sure he could see my excitement and froth pouring out of my being at and after the shoot :)

I have also added to the Lombok collection of imagery, another shoot Cade and I created together in his shed Kitchen, in Byron Bay. The two shoots go together like coconut milk and curry spices.
